Optimistic

Mysterious are the ways of life,
Through odds we try to survive,
Finding by fighting our way through,
Being optimistic will keep us alive.
Starts at an very early age,
As you expect a child to run before walking,
Making him read before he learns talking,
Being optimistic will keep us alive.
Through different phases of life,
Difficult days and dark nights,
With no ray of light in the sight,
Believe optimism will help you survive.
Dream about your goals and pursue them,
Fill the dreams with self-belief,
Hope will make it happen real in life.
Wars have been won from point of defeat,
Lives have been saved from clutches of death,
Games have been saved from jaws of defeat,
Its optimism that has made it possible every time.
Wherever you look you will find,
From the Jesus Christ to Cupid,
From very intelligent to stupid,
Optimism has kept them shining and bright.
Now is your chance to life,
Take the fight to other side,
Change the destiny and make your own,
Just keep the spirits of hope burning bright

Being optimistic will keep us alive.

This is the second poem i composed during my stay at BMSB 3 trimester bangalore, as part of the competition entry on the topic Optimistic. The previous one already fetched me second place and is more closer to my heart than this one. I hope whoever reads it enjoys it more than I do.

My Dreams

The following poem was composed when I was studying in BMSB college after the midninght hours/early hours of 8th July 2013. There was an competition wherein one had to write a poem on given title, the one which is title of the post. It is an orignal poem composed by me, which intrestengly fetched me second prize in college.

I dream and visualize,
When the sunlight is out of sight,
And the stars are shining bright,
What a night with beautiful moon in sight!

I dream and visualize,
Of a illustrating career so bright,
Makes me work all day all night,
Oh! the future never looked such a delight,
I just need to continue my fight !

I dream and visualize,
Of the beautiful face and the lovely eyes,
Oh! My pretty girl you have me mesmerized,
Whatever it takes, I will turn the tide,
To fight for you, keeping you always by my side !

I dream and visualize,
As they want me to have one,
For us only they sacrificed their every fun,
Parents are the force nurturing us all our life,
We will owe them all even beyond this life !

I dream and visualize,
With my eyes open wide,
Under the canvas of clear blue skies,
The dreams that make my life so beautiful,
Without them I would eventually die,
So keep the lamp of dreams burning high and alive.

New Destinations Awaiting

......Nikki wake up, wake up its 5:45am. Get up, go bring the milk from milkman quickly otherwise your father would get late in leaving for his job. Immediately the guy wakes up in the coldest of mornings in a beautiful city renowned as 'Pinkcity' in the northern part of the India, cursing the work and leaving the warm comfort of blanket. The guy wakes up, brushes, freshens up, takes the vessel quickly and leaves for going to 'Dudhwala' where he intends to reach quickly so that h doesn't has to stand in line and wait for his turn. As he has to leave for the school too.

Another Day : Tring tring.... a nice ringtone playing in a mobile.  The same guy is sitting on his bed in the western part of the country, a city famously know as the financial capital of India. The guy picks up the call, voice on the other side of his loving neighbors Limba Family.
 Aunti : Hello Nikki
Nikki : Ji aunti pranam !
Aunti : Khush raho; kaisa hai?
Nikki : Bas aunti ekdum badiya, aap sunaiye!
Aunti : (with a happy feeling) beta Shilu ki shaadi fix ho gyi hai !
Nikki : Kya baat kar rhi hai aunti (happy n excited tone) kab !
Aunti : 24th in the ending of this year n do anything but you have to come! manage your holidays and book        your tickets in advance.
Nikki : Okk aunti ! sure will do. Conversation ends...
Guess a lot has changed from the day I used to wake up early for getting milk from the dudhwala. Back now in hometown, my parents bring dairy's pasteurized milk as fresh and pure milk is not easily available. I am working in a metro city, living with guys who I rarely knew a couple of months ago, in a room that barely equals me n my brother's personal room back in hometown. Kids call you uncle, government deems you as an adult although you feel, you are barely crossing your early 20's. You still see yourself as a youth in his late teens, as when you look yourself in mirror you feel nothing has changed in you. Same face and look with a little growth of facial hairs. Its just a year or more into the job & suddenly I realize that life has drastically changed from the last time I self introspected and took notice. Whenever I log into my Facebook account, i half expect it already, as there is a new news about another of your mate or friend falling down, getting engaged or is getting married on so and so date as if there is a marriage festival going on. You suddenly realize you are alone by yourself and lo call it the curse of the destiny or what 'a vacuum is created in your space for someone' automatically or by situation God knows. The earliest of marriage function I remember was of my cousin brother when I was a 10-11 year old kid who used to have fun pulling her mother's & would be bhabhi's long hairs. Cut to present, I just got over with own brother's wedding 4-5 months ago and before you realise anything people have started asking about my future plans for the same. Well leave about a big responsibility called marriage, I have just been into the new phase of life after finishing up with the education somehow managing myself. To ask for such a thing, even thinking about it takes a whole lot of effort when you have little know-how about spending life with someone and looking after fulltime as you just have been spending carefree life. Love is an whole together alien concept to you.
Life as of now seems to have come at a point, where I feel clueless about future, directions to be headed for. Its a whole lot of mix of posssiblities, things have changed too much, without me even knowing it. When I see school going kids, I visualize my not so distant past, whereas seeing the college going guys I feel I was one of them just sometime ago, Suddenly I realize my love for music specially soft music has increased immensely as listening to it provides me a sense of calm, comfort and belongingness that I now-a-days seek in life. Just a few words come to my mind :
बचपन के दोस्त जाने कहाँ गुजर गए
फिसले बिना ही हम संभल गए
ज़िंदगी के मायने कुछ यूं बदले की
हमारे कदम अनजानी मंजिलों की ओर बढ़ गए !!

Searching For Ray of Light

Life goes on and on & on & we never realise, when it just slipped out of our hands. We just have to grab whatever is offered to us by both hands & then decide whatever is useful for us. Life has been, is, will be, a difficult path to walk on always. We have to walk through darkest of paths in life. We can't always be on brightest of way. If someoe has only walked on a bright path, he will forget its importance & if suddenly dark turn comes in the way, he may not be able to pass through it. We should definitely not fear from walking on dark paths whenever they are encountered and should take the experience in our stride as someting to be treasured and cherished. We will then only realise what is loneliness, sadness and why they are disliked or hated.
The happiest of the happy moment is not when one is always on the brightest, shining side of life, rather it is there when one has been in darkest of the paths, darker than a black hole & the suddenly, finally one sees or discoveres a ray of light. Then we realise Ahhh THIS IS IT!!! THIS IS IT!! This is what we Needed or Desired !!! This is what I was waiting for!! This is the moment when one feels he/she is the happiest person in whole because we have realised the importance of that "Ray Of Light". We have been through a situation where the situation cannot go much worse than that. We know we are on the top of world because we know what it takes to be on the top of that Success Mountain. We need to strive and strike constantly for this moment of life and then we realize the importance of Ups & Downs in Life. These moment make a True Achiever. Dear Reader and my Friend that is why God sends Depressing and Embarrasing moments in life.
So my lovely MATES, RECOVER and RISE because there is going to be light after darkness as there is Day after Night, Sunrise after Sunset, Dusk after Dawn. Recover because you have not lost everything, Recover because there are many Rays of Light to be discoerec in Life, Recover before its too late BECAUSE Life does not provides Another CHANCE to everyone.

Rainy Days

I have been waiting  since more than a month to express myself on this topic but this time monsoon was delayed in Rajasthan so my wait was extended. I don't wanted to share my feelings which I had expressed as a poem but someone convinced me otherwise so I am sharing this poem with all of you. I had wriiten this during my graduation when weather was as similar as today, right now at jaipur, on a monday evening at 5:30pm is !!! I hope those who will read will share the same feelings as I felt while writing the poem. The picture above is also of jaipur itself on a pleasant cloudy day.

Rain knocking at my door once again
Rain Rain at every home once again
Everyone is waiting let us began
Oh Rain uplift & cherish my mood every now and then
My emotions are downpouring and draining me again
Rain knocking at my door ........

Little drops are falling on my face
Getting inside my soul as in a race
Rejoicing me and not letting sorrow and woes have space
Giving my dreams and fantasies a new place
Rain knocking ..........

Rain Rain  Once again
Provoking thought's turmoil inside me
Not allowing sun to shine over
Giving joy & cheer to the tired masses
Following them are flowers at full bloom

Rain Rain  Once again
Every lip is smiling and every soul is at peace
Plants and trees bearing new leaves, sprouting up life
Dew drops sizzling on leaves like pearl
Blowing fresh, a cool breeze unfurls.

Rain Rain  Once again
Giving words to my feelings
My mind and heart freely roaming
Rain really is everybody's darling
Giving wings to lives for flying

Rain Rain Once again
Make my life full of love again
Be there in times of strain
This time i want to fly high and get trained
So that I can touch the heights again

Rain Rain Once again
I will attain the path to success
Do whatever it takes to reach there
Come whatever in my way and i will recover

Rain Rain Once again
Clearing my thoughts with the lightning
Showing me that my stars are up for shining
Rain Rain Once again

God Created the Teacher

On the 6th day, God created men and women. On the 7th day he rested. Not so much to
recuperate, but rather to prepare himself for the work he was going to do on the next day.
For it was on that day –the 8th day-that God created the First Teacher. This Teacher, though
taken from among men and women, had several significant modifications. In general, God
made the Teacher more durable than other men and women. The Teacher was made to be
arise at a very early hour and go to bed no earlier than 11:30pm with no rest in between.
The Teacher had to be able to withstand being locked up in an air-tight classroom for six
hours with thirty five “monsters” on a rainy Monday. And the teacher had to be fit to
correct103 papers over Easter vacation. Yes, God made the teacher tough _ _ _ _ _ _ _
but gentle, too. The Teacher was equipped with soft hands to wipe away the tears  of the
neglected and lonely student _ _ _ _ those of sixteen year old girl who was not asked to the
prom. And intothe Teacher God poured a generous amount of patience. Patience when a
student asks to repeat the directions the teacher has just repeated for someone else.
Patience when the kids forget their lunch money for the fourth day in the row. Patience
when one third of the class fails the test. Patience when the text books have not arrived
yet, and the semester starts tomorrow. And God gave Teacher a heart slightly bigger than
the average human heart. For the Teacher’s heart had to be big enough to love the kid who
screams, “I hate this class- it’s boring! ” and to love the kid who runs out of the classroom at
the end of the period without so much as a “Goodbye”, let alone a “Thank You”. And lastly
God gave the teacher an abundant supply of HOPE. For God knew that the TEACHER would
always be hoping. Hoping that the kid would somedaylearn how to spell _ _ _ _ hoping not
to have lunchroom duty_ _ _ _ _ _ _hoping that Friday would come_ _ _ _ _hoping for a free
day_ _ _ _ _hoping for deliverance. When God finished creating the TEACHER, he stepped
back and admired the work of His hands. And God saw that the Teacher was good. Very
GOOD!And God smiled, for when he looked at the Teacher, he saw into the future. He
knew that future is in the hands of the TEACHERS. And because God loves TEACHERSso
much _ __ _ _on the 9th day God created _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
SNOW DAYS!!!!!!
                                                                                                            ~Unknown~

This story framed by someone is so True, it stands testimony to the humongous tasks a Teacher has at its hand. This story is very close to my heart and very dear to me. This blog post is dedicated to all those teachers who have shaped my life in a known or unknown way for better, may they would have been in different roles of life as Parents, Friends, Relatives etc. I have posted this to Thank all of them, to share with them my feelings toward them and with all others out there who feel in a similar way but have not been able to express the same.

Feeling Good? Pass it on

Have you ever wondered what effect can an unkind word from your  mouth have? Perhaps you haven't. But if we stop and think, then we shall realize the importance of polite words and actions. A person who is greeted with soft and polite words will definitely pass them on, making the day brighter for many people. So starting the day in right mood is very important. A few lines of James W. Foley explain the phenomenon better:
Drop a pebble in the water
just a splash and it is gone,
But there's half a hundred ripples
Circling on and on and on
Spreading, spreading from the center,
falling on and out to the sea.
And there is no way of telling
where the end is going to be.
Drop an unkind word, or careless
in a minute it is gone,
But there's a half a hundred ripples
circling on and on.
They keep spreading, spreading, spreading
from the center as they go,
And there is no way to stop them,
once you've started them to flow.
Drop an unkind word or careless:
in a minute you forget;
But there's little waves flowing,
and there's ripples circling yet,
and perhaps in some sad heart
a mighty wave of tears you've stirred,
and disturbed a life which was happy
where you dropped that unkind word.
Drop a word of cheer and kindness:
just a flash and it is gone;
but there's half a hundred ripples
circling on and on and on,
bearing hope and joy and comfort
on each splashing, dashing wave
till you wouldn't believe the volume
of the one kind word you gave.
And you've rolled a wave of comfort
whose sweet music can be heard
Over miles and miles of water
just by dropping one kind word.

The day you realize the truth in these words, you are in for a lot of satisfaction and contentment in life. So be conscious about the opportunities that life throws at you. And who knows your words and actions might be travelling miles and miles playing an important role in bringing peace and harmony back to our planet. Let's create a better planet!
