Rainy Days

I have been waiting  since more than a month to express myself on this topic but this time monsoon was delayed in Rajasthan so my wait was extended. I don't wanted to share my feelings which I had expressed as a poem but someone convinced me otherwise so I am sharing this poem with all of you. I had wriiten this during my graduation when weather was as similar as today, right now at jaipur, on a monday evening at 5:30pm is !!! I hope those who will read will share the same feelings as I felt while writing the poem. The picture above is also of jaipur itself on a pleasant cloudy day.

Rain knocking at my door once again
Rain Rain at every home once again
Everyone is waiting let us began
Oh Rain uplift & cherish my mood every now and then
My emotions are downpouring and draining me again
Rain knocking at my door ........

Little drops are falling on my face
Getting inside my soul as in a race
Rejoicing me and not letting sorrow and woes have space
Giving my dreams and fantasies a new place
Rain knocking ..........

Rain Rain  Once again
Provoking thought's turmoil inside me
Not allowing sun to shine over
Giving joy & cheer to the tired masses
Following them are flowers at full bloom

Rain Rain  Once again
Every lip is smiling and every soul is at peace
Plants and trees bearing new leaves, sprouting up life
Dew drops sizzling on leaves like pearl
Blowing fresh, a cool breeze unfurls.

Rain Rain  Once again
Giving words to my feelings
My mind and heart freely roaming
Rain really is everybody's darling
Giving wings to lives for flying

Rain Rain Once again
Make my life full of love again
Be there in times of strain
This time i want to fly high and get trained
So that I can touch the heights again

Rain Rain Once again
I will attain the path to success
Do whatever it takes to reach there
Come whatever in my way and i will recover

Rain Rain Once again
Clearing my thoughts with the lightning
Showing me that my stars are up for shining
Rain Rain Once again

My Voice
