In my last post i talked about trust but here i wanted to talk about the issue of friends who are destroyers in apoem which i had once read and noted down in a notebook.
The dangerous people are not the ones
Who hit you with clubs and rob you with guns!
The thief won't attack your character traits
Or belittle your abilities to your face!
It likely will be a well-meaning friendWho merely crushes your wish to win.
No, he doesn't rob you, at the gunpoint,
He simply says, "It can't be done".
When pointed to thousands who already have,
He smiles and says, "They are superior!
Personality-wise, and abilities, too,
They are way ahead of what others can do!"
It matters not that his words are untrue.
For you feel "others" must know you!
So you are robbed of your hopes,
your dreams to succeed.
Robbed of the material blesssing received,
Robbed of your faith that says, "I can".
And robbed by an ignorant, gunless friend.
So, the deadliest of men is not he with a gun,
But the one who tells you "It can't be done!"
For that taken by burgulars can be gotten again
But, what can replace your will to win???????????

Please spare a minute to think on these lines and judge are you having a gunless friend who is robbing you! If yes then leave him now. In our life many a time there are people who say no you won't be able to do this task but it is not true. So all of my mates and friends if there is something noble or right you have always dreamt or thought of doing "GO DO IT NOW" is the mantra for success. Set aside the mist surrounding you and achieve what is yours, claim it which till now you had dropped hope, because of a gunless friend!!!!

Well said by you Nikhil, I have heard of this phrase that "jispe sabse zyada bharosa kiya usi ne peeth pe khanjar bhoka" means the person whome i trusted the most cheated me on my back. I feel friendship is the part and art of life which has to be lived with passion and compassion. In friendship competition is needed and should be restricted to outside competitive world only. After the work gets over they should again be friends.
To contradict, friends should be the biggest motivating factor of other friend as he knows the jist of his friend.

It is really very nice thought. It seems that these words are directly from the bottom of the heart. It really tells the truth lies in todays world, but don't you think that it is a pessimistic approach towards friendship. Although the sentences of the phrase shows the realty but according to me that are philosophical in nature, as in todays world every individual is looking for their own benefits so he/she can understand their own benefits and they can understand their own good and bad.
Nice effort from your side but our(esp-my) expectations are very high from you based on your knowledge.
I would like to tell you that although this was a nice blog but still use your knowledge and write an insightful blog which can add value to the readers.

Honestly Nikhil, I really appreciate the thought bcoz in life I am sure all of us face this but irony is, when out of love and care our near and dear ones turns to be the gunless friends. Many a times.... convincing them, assuring them and then proving yourself become really challenging...I have always found such situations as tough but yes emerging as a winner not only boosted my confidence but their faith on me too.. I sincerely believe You will really reap success in all the fields of life...because the basics of game are very clear in your mind.
